Peter is a retired teacher formerly with the Toronto District School Board, previously the Scarborough Board of Education. He retired in June of 1999 after 32 years of service.
He is actively involved as a member of the North Newmarket Lions Club where he served for five years as club Secretary. This year he is enjoying a year off, so to speak. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the North Newmarket Lions Foundation.
He is currently serving District A-16 as the Information Technology Chairman. He served as District Governor in the 1984 - 1985 Lions' year.
Peter also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Lions Clubs Camp Kirk Foundation. He is currently the Promotion Chairman for that foundation.
In addition to his work with Lions, he serves on the Board of Directors of Georgina Mobility Transit, a group that works to provide transportation for physically handicapped indviduals in the town of Georgina.
In his spare time, he has a small business which is involved in the creation of web sites, some of which are listed on our favourite links page.
